LAKEWOOD, Colo., Jun 04, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Renal Ventures Management LLC, a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, announced today that Christopher Pyrek has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Pyrek brings to Renal Ventures over 20 years of experience in the renal dialysis industry where he has served extensively in business development roles. His specialties include mergers and acquisitions, joint venture partnerships with physicians and hospitals, contract negotiations and construction oversight. In his new role Mr. Pyrek will be responsible for the company's de novo growth and other expansion opportunities.

Prior to joining Renal Ventures, Mr. Pyrek was the founding member of RenalCare Partners in Hollywood, Fla., where he served as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, he was responsible for corporate growth through acquisitions and new facility developments.

Before his work with RenalCare Partners, Mr. Pyrek served as Assistant Vice President of Vivra Renal Care, the second largest provider of kidney dialysis in the U.S. During this time period, he opened more than 40 new facilities and was responsible for the company's three largest acquisitions. Mr. Pyrek also established the company's physical plant design standards which significantly improved efficiencies and profit margins.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Pyrek also served as a new market and business development consultant to dialysis providers as well as founded a specialized, real estate development firm which focused exclusively on health care properties. Mr. Pyrek holds a degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
