FDA approves use of everolimus transplant drug immunoassay Print
Wall Street Journal: The Food and Drug Administration Friday approved a test made by Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (TMO) that's designed to help doctors prevent kidney-transplant rejections. The test, called QMS Everolimus Immunoassay, monitors the blood level of everolimus, a drug that helps prevent rejection in kidney transplants. Everolimus is sold under the brand name Zortress, is sold by Novartis AG (NVS) and was approved last year.
